Party Poker is one of the largest poker websites in the world so it has a huge player base to draw from. It offers a large variety of competitive promotions, events and tournaments.

Party Poker offers a large variety of games but my favorite is Texas Hold’em. This is convenient for me because it’s also one of the most popular games on the site, so there is never a shortage of competition. Another advantage is that there are always a large number of players with the same skill level as me, thus making the games more fun.

Other than Texas Hold’em Party Poker has Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo. I never really got into these games so I don’t know much about them.

Another nice feature is the tournament options. There are $10 million guaranteed every month. Some of the tournaments are free to enter while others have buy –ins. There are four types of tournaments that they offer, Freeroles, Guaranteed Tournaments, Satellite Tournaments and Sit and Go’s. Freeroles are the most practical for a new player because you will be eligible for a $1500 tournament every week for 60 days after you register on top of the normal monthly $100 000 tournaments.

The software is also very good at Party Poker. It has a crisp interface which runs smooth and quickly. It’s fairly customizable and lets you play multiple tables at the same time. These tables can cascade and resized. They will also notify you when you have a specific hand to better help you multi table. There is also a flash version.

You can basically deposit money in anyway you can think of, but the most practical I find are VISA, MasterCard, PayPal and MoneyBookers. If one of theses isn’t for you there are a ton of other ways.
